NEW HERE?
Centenary and Mahoning welcomes everyone from all walks of life into our community, and would love to meet you. We know that visiting a church for the first time can sometimes be an overwhelming experience, but having an idea of what to expect can certainly help.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
We have 2 services for you to choose from: Sundays at 9:00 a.m. POWER HOUR! Contemporary Service and 11:15 a.m. Traditional Service. The services usually last about an hour and fifteen minutes. We have live, upbeat worship with a band, as well as intimate songs of worship. Everyone worships in his or her own unique way - for some that means singing, clapping and raising their hands; for others, it means quietly reflecting on the words. At Centenary and Mahoning you are welcome to do what comes from the heart in praise to God. In every service, you will hear a relevant, straightforward message based on scripture that will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide you with a strong Biblical foundation. Each week there is time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings, but as a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for regular attendees, allowing them to thank God for the work he is doing in their lives and gives Centenary the means to reach more people for Christ in the future. The first Sunday of every month we celebrate our Lord through holy communion. All are welcome to the Lord's table. Children are welcome to worship with us, but also know, that we have a program in place for your child during service if needed.
Following the 9:00 am service and before the 11:15 am service guest are invited to join us for Coffee Hour in the Social Hall next door where you can enjoy fellowship with others.
